Because thats one fight you didnt mention. After Cotto loss he had two wins. That kills your theory on that one. He did in fact fight Clottey after Clottey had the loss. Because Clottey deserved the chance. The Cotto fight was already made. Hence the reason why Cotto got a gift decision...despite everyone knowing Clottey beat Cotto.

Point is...losses dont mean shlt in Boxing. To much politics in Boxing.

Pac Boy look....you are a fan...a fan of one fighter, Manny Pacquiao, thats where you begin and that's where you end. I come to this forum to debate, observe, and sometimes even argue with real boxing aficionados. You are not that...You are a fanboy, okay? You dont know nothing outside of Manny Pacquiao so as a result debating with you is ultimately a Big Waste of Time!!

When you were conceived the smartest part of you was wiped off with a rag. I will agree with you that debating with me is a big waste of time...For me. I established that right about the time i just smashed your thread with one example...Cotto had two wins before Manny. You said he fought Cotto after he came off a loss.

It's Pacquiao who has a clear history of fighting guys coming off loses, the hell is wrong with some of your point of view!! You got eyes but you're Blind!!

Manny Pacquiao is no longer relevant......tell Pac to have fun fighting Bradley a 4th time.

Hatton beats Castillo - Floyd fights Hatton

Baldy beats Gatti - Floyd fights Baldy
Marquez beats Diaz - Floyd fights Marquez
All this proves is that you got fooled by Floyd and his cherry picking tactics. If winning your previous fight is all that you ask for in your opponent, that is a joke.

EXAMPLE: Juan Marquez jumped 3 divisions in about a year to fight Floyd. Marquez NEVER fought at 140 nor 147. Marquez was expecting Floyd to go down to the CW that they had agreed to. Floyd came in at the weight that he wanted to instead of the contracted CW. What I stated is way more important than if Marquez beat Diaz at 135 (only 2nd fight at 135) for a fight that was fought at WW .....

Actually, if you remember, the marketing ploy that Floyd tried to sell us on this fight was that Marquez was a top P4P fighter .... not that Marquez was coming up several divisions.
