Losses and coming off losses is two different things, boxing is all about momentum and I'm pretty sure fighters have more momentum coming off a win vs coming off a loss! Are you still not understanding whats being debated here? Floyd has historically fought guys coming off big wins big momentum, Manny is fighting these guys coming off big losses with no momentum! Isn't there a difference? I think So!

I didn't think Cotto beat Clottey, but that was a way better win than any of the stiffs Cotto beat prior to fighting Mayweather. Cotto learned how to cherrypick like a real pro post-Pacquiao.
