to help make the fight between a career junior middleweight (having fought at 154/155 since the age of 19) and a career middleweight (having fought at 165 for his last 2 years as an amateur and since the age of 21, before continuing on for his entire pro career at 160lbs).

Alvarez isn't yet a middleweight, he and his camp having made that clear in their statements and actions, yet he's not afraid of fighting Golovkin.

If Golovkin and his camp were so gun-ho about "anyone 154-168", why not fight Alvarez at 155?

The way things are heading, assuming that Alvarez beats Liam Smith, what is stopping Alvarez from demanding that Golovkin comes down to 154 to fight him next?
