This is where I have a problem with GGG fans. How dare you put GGG in the same sentence with Floyd and Cotto. How many divisions did Floyd win titles? How many divisions did Cotto win titles? When Cotto was presented with Pacquiao at 145 or no Pacquiao, what choice did he make? When Floyd was presented with Oscar @ 154, Cotto @ 154, and Canelo @ 152, what choice did he make? Don't put GGG in the same sentence with B-Hop, Cotto and Floyd until he wins in multiple divisions, or at a minimum, he concedes to a weight disadvantage to make a mega-fight like De La Hoya vs. Mayweather, B-Hop vs. De La Hoya, or Cotto vs. Pacquiao!

So we will be right back here in a few months talking about the same ****. How Golovkin had no choce,l how hes the most feared fighter in boxing. How its ok for him to fight WWs and tomato cans because Canelo and these two dont want to fight him. BJSJ isnt fighting Golovkin. Jacobs is another long shot. So banking on fights that they know for damn sure wont happen is just plain ******ed.Comment

And what happens when Brook finds out that he is too small?Comment

GGG > TeamGGG
I love Golovkin, huge fan of the fighter but I absolutely can't stand his team. Life is a journey and all journeys have obstacles and short cuts but the short cuts usually require some sort of sacrifice or risk taking. It's no different in this situ. You can relate this situ to driving.
Team GGG are on a road to get BJS belt but BJS wants a lot for money to fight him. So BJS is like a toll booth that you can use to get to your destination faster but you have to pay more to do so. Is it fair? No, but you don't make the rules so you either pay to access the toll (in this case pay to fight BJS) or don't pay and take the longer route, but dont complain about it.
Paying the 4 mill is a risk but with great risk comes great reward. You cant expect things to alway be ideal or perfect for your situation. If GGG & Co truly believe they can beat BJS than i say pay the man his 4 mill, beat him and make the big money back when you unify all the belts and are the top dog in the div.Comment

Why don't governments pay for ransom of their citizens? That will encourage others to hold people for ransom and open the flood gates. Team GG wanted conelo & eubank and becaued they were ****ED AROUND, they have to move on, and show they are not getting d1cked around by everyone they negotiate with (whilst at the same time being very patient to try to make the big fights in cotto & conelo).Comment

Are they as good as GGG, prob not. But both could beat Canelo (although with the latter he wouldn't get the win because Canelo has a judge in his pocket).Comment

What Happened to beating the best and then getting paid
GGG wants the last title, and I don't blame him. It's been a four year quest and he is one away.
Hopefull Jacobs stops the horse crap and gets in this fit next.
Howeve, unless you bring something to the table, it's asinine to expect K2 to lose money overpaying guys to fight GGG.Comment

Neither Jacobs or Suanders sucks. Only casual who doesn't know boxing could possibly say this, of course on a forum. Those are two of the top MW in Earth.

Paying him well and paying him above his worth is one thing. Paying him more than GGG would get and losing millions on it is asinine.
They'd be better served to wait until Suanders loses it. It's not like they have other big fight options being held up.
K2 has done a great job building a Eastern European fighter into a brand. Most fighters from there never have this chance.
If Degale (only guy at 168 worth going up for) becomes available, they've already said they'd consider fighting him.
Waiting for Canelo and Suanders hasn't stopped them from getting other major fights. When dealing with other fighter they run into same issues. Lara wants too much. Ward wanted 50/50 more than a year in advance of a potential fight.
It's always same story.Comment
