That doesn't mean he's a bad fighter. He also destroyed Quillin.

You ask any boxing expert about Jacobs and they will rate him high. But because he is a potential GGG opponent, people try to act as if he is garbage.

He was a great prospect. He lost to Pirog when sick, and got caught by Mora. People get caught, it happens. Doesn't mean he is a crap fighter.

Lara got caught by Angulo twice. Same Angulo Kirkland destroyed. Same Kirkland Ishinda destroyed. Same Ishida GGG destroyed.

And the knee bone is connected to the d1ck bone. Yada yada yada.

And I guess you're gonna try and tell me GGG-Brook is this generations Hagler-Leonard. After you trashed Canelo for doing the same thing fighting Khan. Well actually, he didn't. Canelo is a career jr middleweight, that's never fought above 155. Khan was a welterweight moving up to fight a jr middleweight, a pound north of the jr middleweight division. Ya boy dragging a welterweight all the way up to 160. Pathetic.

Umm, 155 isn't JRMW. It's MW. Once you are above 154, you are a MW, whether you like it or not. And who cares if he was a career JRMW. He was fighting in MW holding multiple MW titles.

And khan was a WW (3 fights) who had been KO'd at 135/140, and hurt many times at 147.

Brook is a WW who steps into ring at 165, five pounds less than GGG does. He's never been KO'd or even lost a fight.

And the biggest difference is Canelo had 10 people he could of fought other than Khan. Each financially doable because of the ppv nature of Canelo fights. He can pay big money without losing money himself.

Andrade, Charlos, Jacobs, Suanders, GGG, etc.

GGG had to quickly put together a fight with someone after Eubanks and Canelo ****ed him around.

Lastly, I do t think this is Leonard v. Hagler. But if Brook wins it would be similar.

Brook is an undefeated big WW who already walked into ring above 160.

If Canelo weighed 175 (at least), Khan 165 at most, there was ten pounds. For a glass jawed www.

Brook comes in five pounds more than usual, he'll be 170. Same as GGG.

There is little in the way of apt comparison here. A case convincingly made here: http://www.thefightcity.com/defendin...-chris-eubank/

This isn't a fight I wanted at all, but GGG wasn't given a lot of options for big fights.

hilarious to see Golovkin's manager insinuate that an opponent should move "personal gain" behind "giving the fans the fight they want to see", yet never even halfway insinuate at Golovkin doing the same thing.

Daniel Jacobs got dropped because, after hurting and putting down Mora, he recklessly rushed in and got clipped. Mind you, he wasn't even down for even a 5-count.

              context is key.

What does GGG need to do to get the WBO to force Saunders to fight him or vacate? I see that Avtandil Khurtsidze is the is the top ranked fighter in the WBO standings, if GGG fights and beats him would that make GGG the Mandatory to Saunders's WBO title? Let it go to purse bid, 50/50, champion vs champion.

If I were GGG's handlers I'd have him fight 4 times a year. Just take on all comers who can make weight. The more he fights the more exposure he gets. The more exposure he gets the more $$$ his brand is worth. The more his brand is worth the more people will want to fight him.

How much is Brook getting for this fight? It must be more than the $1-1.5 million he was offered for the Vargas fight, but less than the $4 million they couldn't afford to pay Saunders. What, somewhere in the $2-3 million dollar range?

Why don't governments pay for ransom of their citizens? That will encourage others to hold people for ransom and open the flood gates. Team GG wanted conelo & eubank and becaued they were ****ED AROUND, they have to move on, and show they are not getting d1cked around by everyone they negotiate with (whilst at the same time being very patient to try to make the big fights in cotto & conelo).
Gotcha. I agree there is the whole opening a can of worms issue to worry about. If one person gets away with it than everyone else will try their hand at the same thing and start an epidemic we wouldn't want to see. I can agree with you on that. Kudos
