Would You Have Preferred John Ryder vs GGG instead of Brook?

As they say, Golovkin easily dismantles Southpaws and elite ones at that.

I like him fighting Eubank better but Brook is OK with me. Brook is a champion who was planning to move up to 154 anyway. It was impossible for GGG to fight Eubank because Eubank refused to sign the contract in spite of a generous offer to fight GGG. Brook offered to take Eubank's place. I doubt there will be more that a couple of pounds difference between the two boxers on fight night. I never heard of Ryder. Fighting Brook in England will make GGG a career high payday and he would have been foolish to turn the fight down.

      I would have preferred

      1) Jacobs

      2) Eubank Jr

But because they chose to avoid GGG, Kell Brook is okay.

A guy who was stopped by Nick Blackwell? lol, no thanks.

As shocking as the Brook fight is it really isn't any worse than Eubank Jr a total novice who has only fought at British level and IMO stylistically its probably a much tougher fight than Canelo who fans were calling for.

Lets face it he has no movement, no jab, gonna be stood at mid-range. He is made for GGG.

I'm not justifying this fight but Brooks a HUGE Welterweight and the move up could possibly benefit him massively. I see no way he wins but its not as bad as most of these MW no-hopers.

Golovkin is a top five P4P boxer - the sport expects better from him.

              Just go watch their fights.
BJS is **** average all round at best. Basic southpaw footwork & a jab for 6 rounds is all he has.

Eubank Jr is like some personal trainer who has been boxing 5-6 years max

These fighters aren't good or a threat either.

Jacobs would beat the absolute head clean off the lot of them.

At least Brook can box more than I can say for Eubank Jr who fights like a damn video game character just spamming uppercuts.

Yep. Canelo, Jacobs and Eubank would of been the preference.
A shame those guys made other plans.

I wish GGG would have met Brook at 154lb to make the match up appear more competitive. As it stands now, the thought of a WW moving up to face a fighter like GGG sounds like a bad idea. I really can't see any way Brook can win.......
