Well that's what I meant. He went down 2 weight classes into the welterweight division to drag a guy up, instead of moving up to 168 or even staying at 160 to fight a top 20 guy or something.

    • Yea ya gotta give Broner his props no matter what because he'll fight anyone. He doesn't care. That's a throwback fighter right there. Boxing is a business now. Not a sport.

Broner is still my favorite active fighter - and losing to Porter didn't diminish that because he should have actually taken Porter out - Broner's plan was to take Porter to the deep end... If Danny Garcia wasn't such a pus trying to fight Berto - Broner would have reestablished himself against Garcia - but now I'm hearing Broner is taking on a fight with Pac - which will probably lead to loss 3 but at least Broner will go out like a G

      • The fkn cheek of Loeffler.

Telling me how to view this blatant cherry-pick LMAO

Oh no Tom, this situation is NOTHING like Canelo/Khan...... sure we get it ^^

What color T-shirt should I wear to the fight Tom, and exactly how much should I enjoy it? Can I clap when Golovkin knocks Brook TFO ?

        • Loeffler literally used the " dey duckin me doe " excuse to justify Brook.

Golovkin fans: he is continuing to do this, because YOU keep believing him.

If you stop buying his bull****, he will stop taking a dump on your lap.

Do not watch that crap fight.

NOTHING is going to change, you DREAMERS..... they are going to let the "HBO Darling" business-model run it's course..... NOTHING is going to change, so MAKE them live up to their hype/promises, or they will keep lying to you.

Khan was scared to fight Brook but fought Canelo... so that tells you right there how much respect Khan has of Brook...
And GGG is a much harder puncher than Canelo so it evens the mismatch.

GGG can only fight those who are willing to fight him in the ring. Grove and Degale bigger guys want no part of GGG and the loss it brings. Bliiy Joe wanted of part of GGG. GGG is far from a coward but most all opponents want to avoid the loss to GGG. Khan stepped up as did Brook. But GGG is no coward.

I agree, Golovkin is no coward. He ducked Ward and Canelo because he didn't want to take a L, not because he is a coward.

Ward is to big for Golovkin at 175lbs now. Canelo wasn't fighting GGG at 160lbs ever as Canelo wanted to play mex mind tequila taco games with weights. Ward would have beaten GGG at 168lbs but GGG wanted 164lbs catch. Boxing is a survival sport with a strategy to make big money and win in that order. Cash is King of the ring as titles mean nothing. Greed rules Boxing along with scum bag promoters and pimps ike slimy al harlem condom Haymon. Can=yellow sees no point in a GGG fight and KO loss. The mex can make as much pesos without GGG.

Actually, I pretty much agree with everything you said, good call.

                    My main issue is.....

                    1) the broken promise in my sig

                    2) the fact that Golovkin has had a similar excuse for every potential top opponent, and to date has fought NONE of them

No idea why the guy who promised Canelo a catchweight...... and who ran around for FOUR YEARS saying that he can beat "anyone from 154-168"..... totally refused to negotiate on the weight therefore killing his BIGGEST payday by far?

I heard that Canelo wanted a fight day weigh in at 156lbs with GGG and then a weight clause for the fight not over a certain limit. Canelo has enough at 160lbs to stay active but will make no big money. Canelo can make more money without GGG. GGG as a communist in the USA isn't going to make much money.
