Probably burned a lot of bridges too seeing as Hearn will probably not deal with them once the contract is up in a couple of fights, so there's Sky out of the window. Warren already said he won't work with them again, so there's BoxNation gone too haha.

All since the start of 2016.
Talk about a narcissistic prick man, this guy is single-handedly destroying his son's career.

Guaranteed when Poo-Bank Jr heard that Brook stepped in and saved him he let out a blazing hot 32 second fried chicken fart of relief. Then he went online and started pretending again that he actually wanted to fight P4P #1 GGG.

sure... sure..... gotta be the big conspiracy theory, rather than the obviously sensible explanation that Eubank Sr is simply a tool and impossible to work with.......

They act as he's having a career on parallel with the ATGs. Yet they consider Eubank a big-time opponent. Eubank is a mediocre talent with a subpar resume. Yet, he would actually be a pretty decent step up from GGG's usual opposition. That's a problem people.

the notion that Eubank had any influence whatsoever over Golovkin selecting Brook as his next opponent..... is just ******ity

they could have selected a number of better opponents, as has always been the case..... they didn't need to consider Brook at all

It's a horrible fight but starting a whole new negotiation process is time consuming and throws off any potential fight schedule.

Who should they have started negotiations with and how quickly would they have gone through? Lara's about the only decent person who might be available and he is also a smaller fighter who'd be moving up. He demands a lot with not a lot being brought to the table. For what it's worth I'd rather have seen Lara but with no guarantees that the demands of all parties could be made I'd probably accept the immediate offer with all logistics covered. It's quite a good set up to have the venue, great likelihood of big seat and view sales, undercard, etc, etc all covered.

Not happy with it but he's now been turned down or avoided by every middleweight of any standing.

Ok. And fight who? And more importantly fight when?

I don't know the full details of big event promotion but it strikes me that if he has no other good dance partners available and will therefore just not fight at all in the Autumn then why not take the challenge?

I dislike all the politics but who else is available at a nearby weight seeing as Eubank Jr was the only middleweight to want to fight Golovkin? Only Lara.

I've never heard of a fighter under name "Someone". What weight does he fight at? What's his ranking? R U sure that he will agree to fight GGG in September?

The truth is K2/GGG had a choice: 1) Brook from WW; 2) Wade/cab/can from MW; 3) Don't fight. A simple choice.

While I admire what Loeffler has done with GGG in just 4 years, this situation seems to be his fault, 'cause he did not have any backup - if Brook had not been the backup all the way. Which is a bad backup for GGG. Any top 10 from 168 would be a better backup.
