Question I have is will Eubank Jr. still keep Hearns as his promoter? This has to be one of the craziest pairings with these two not being on the same page.

Eubanks seems to think he's the A Side and should run the show. That's simply isn't the reality. What I would like to see would be a Billy Jo rematch or a fight with David Lemieux?

People are failing to see the real issue here. The issue isn't whether Eubank barked, then bailed. Its not even whether his promoter pulled the rug from under him or didn't. The isssue is that you have a growing number of people that act as if GGG is some boxing god. The claim he's the best P4P fighter in the world. They act as he's having a career on parallel with the ATGs. Yet they consider Eubank a big-time opponent. Eubank is a mediocre talent with a subpar resume. Yet, he would actually be a pretty decent step up from GGG's usual opposition. That's a problem people.

          Complete dafty
He also cost him a rematch for great money with Saunders for the world title too. Also advised him to give up his mandatory position to fight Jacobs. Now he's cost him a huge fight with GGG.

Probably burned a lot of bridges too seeing as Hearn will probably not deal with them once the contract is up in a couple of fights, so there's Sky out of the window. Warren already said he won't work with them again, so there's BoxNation gone too haha.

All since the start of 2016.

This plan has been in place since hearn realize how much Sky was willing to pay to have Triple G fight in the UK.
Exactly reason why Vargas fight was never signed

I think that the Eubanks deserved a reality check.

Hearn threw Jnr under the bus to teach Snr a lesson.

Terrible judgement from Team Eubanks in trying to hold Matchroom to ransom IMO.

Now Jnr will have no choice but to take higher risk / Lower reward fights to regain some credibility. Eubanks Snr will have to learn to compromise or accept certain terms, otherwise nobody will want to work with them.

In a way it's the right outcome, the Eubanks needed their ridiculous ego checked, and Eddie Hearn certainly did that lol.

Look at how promoters (DLH, Hearn, etc.) and potential opponents (Jacobs, Saunders, etc.) talk about him. The way they use the GGG hype train is very interesting. They fuel the GGG fire just to siphon from it. GGG is becoming bigger because of who isn't fighting him, rather than the quality of his opposition.

Blame Eubank Sr. They all had a deal in place then he comes in and demands a bunch of extra money and control of undercard fight selection. Hearn knew there was no way to pull that off so for the sake of not completely wasting everyone's time, he offered to one of his other fighters and that guy took the initial deal no questions asked.

Had the whole thing been a wash, GGG would have had to start the process all over trying to find another opponent which would have forced him to lose out on a fight due to timing constraints.

Considering Hearn's relationship with Eubank Jr, I'm not entirely surprised that he'd pull the rug out from under him.
As far as we know, there were no negotiations by Hearn. Hearns way or the highway. Joshua style

Eubank Sr. has been implying his family brand name should get more respect than just Hearns way, or as Hearns says, "WE are the promoters..."

Here you can see some of Eubank Sr's negotiating "tactics".
