Yep it's in March. He won't be able to make 147 and/or he won't be willing to do it to fight Spence after he just got paid big money to fight GGG. This throws the WW situation out of whack. We had a fight that would've unified two belts. Halfway there, especially if Thuman and Garcia fight early next year.

It's stereotypical American fighter mentality, as far as travelling is concerned. Vargas priced himself out of the fight by wanting more than 50%. Both guys are champions so both should have agreed to an even cut. The fight would be better hosted in the UK because it's not a PPV draw. Brit's pay more gate money than the Americans... a bigger revenue for both fighters.

If you ask for too big a cut the fight becomes unattractive to the opponent, so Brook took another option. It's not rocket science. Quit fhuckin complaining! If Vargas wanted the fight he (and Arum) would have met Brook half way with the money. Vargas didn't like the risk, but it seems Brook is very willing to gamble.

Boxing is in a sad state of affairs. The only value in this fight is watching kell brook get guaranteed knocked out. I hope nobody is dumb enough to support this fight. Instead of 2 great fights with one unifying we we get this complete waste of time. Seriously Kelly brook really screwed the fans I hope this fight tanks

Brook went for money. I feel most people would choose more money. Bigger risk of course but i guess brook saw the opportnity for the spot light and took it. A death wish.

                  He wanted to move up

Fighting Triple G is a cash out, when he loses he will say "i was too small, i am going down to 154"

There is nothing to lose for Brook, he rather lose his 0 to Triple G than some low level fighter like Vargas or a high risk dangerous fighter like Spence
                  You may be right...

Last time I saw Brook on BoxNation (two weeks ago), he showed up with a round fat face... I think he has some weight issues...

Jessie Vargas has always been garbage

Theres no risk in fighting jessie vargas period. If you wanna prove yourself fight Porter, Thurman, or even Errol Spence if you think you deserve to wear that vacated belt you won. Fight a real champion to win it dont be no PAPER CHAMPION!!

Kell Brook was afraid to lose his precious 0 to a welterweight, so he is facing little g because there ain't no shame in losing to someone two weight classes above you. Kell Brook deserves ZERO respect. Kell Brook keeps leading these fighters on and then the fights never materialize... Diego Chaves, Brandon Rios, Jessie Vargas... Kell Brook is a bloody disgrace.
