    Vargas was ready to go

Brook changed his mind in the span of 24hrs

I'm still expecting Eubanks to return to the negotiating table and eventually accept what was offered. I also expect to see Brook go back to the Vargas fight.

This has happened before when Hearn tried to lure Frampton, to name one at the moment. He used Donaire.

Vargas-Brook was intriguing. Personally, i gotta agree with Vargas here. Brook makes a jump, gets whooped by GGG doesn't lose credibility and makes some cash meanwhile getting whooped by Vargas is him being exposed.
        Good analogy

too much of a risk, also he wasnt getting enough money

Brook also never wanted to fight Spence

            He wanted to move up

Fighting Triple G is a cash out, when he loses he will say "i was too small, i am going down to 154"

There is nothing to lose for Brook, he rather lose his 0 to Triple G than some low level fighter like Vargas or a high risk dangerous fighter like Spence

I see what you did there lol.

vargas has an overly inflated valuation of himself
Nobody worried about this blown up jr welter who went life and death with josesito and lucky and has had some gift decisions - **** that guy

vargas priced himself out of the brook fight (people saying over 3x his highest purse) it was never happening he signed his deal with top rank yes but nothing was agreed with matchroom, matchroom and top rank couldnt work out were the money was coming from as both fighters wanted a good pay day and given that most the tickets would be bought by brook fans along with the lions share of ppv to say that brook should have fought for far less as vargas to seal the fight is crazy

Vargas is no blown up JWW, he's grown. He's actually a pretty big WW now. You must not know Vargas is 5'11.

As for pricing himself out. You do realize that the promoter pay's the fighter right? It was Brook that was unhappy with what he was being offered. Vargas signed weeks ago.

Once Brook moves up he is not coming back down to 147

He was already big at 147, with the new muscle he is about to add on, his 147 days are over

He'll be fighting at 154, which he has talked about for quite some time.

After G batters him, he'll need 6 - 8 months off, he tends to get very fat in between fights, he'll come back to 154 and take on a light touch..

Its a shame he robbed the fans of all the many 147 fights....
