Im tired if hearing about how avoiled Golovkin is. That **** is old. He's avoided by the guys he wants to fight. He avoids guys he doesn't deem worthy or worth the money. That's not being the most avoided guy. That's being a cherry picker. Golovin fans will defend everything and if you are defending this fight for any reason, you are a fan girl.

True, im not not excited really about GGG's choice, but what other options were really feasible for him. Eubanks who was offered the figh, back out at the 15th hour. Brooks is not who we were expecting but people cant hate on this fight.

Many many top fighters of years past took on similar bouts with opponets moving up two weight divisions.

To me its f'ing crazy that the people who are shyting on this fight were the same people praising other fighters doing the same type of match up. F'ing hypocrisy.

Boobies man, I've never read you here write a propper comment. Fundamenting your opinion or anything. You're the typical assh'le that thinks... "I'm right and I don't agree with him, but I'm right so I will just say that I'm right."
Logic doesn't work like that. But I get it... you're the kind of person that doesn't think that logic should be involved right? in the worst case we bomb you right?

two things [actually three, but two important ones:]

that he's avoided a fight doesn't change that he's the most avoided fighter in boxing. i don't know why people bring it up as if it does. people bring that up as if it mean that he wasn't ducked by ndam, qullin, jacobs, canelo, sturm, martinez, cotto, canelo. he's still the most avoided fighter in boxing even if he ran away from andre ward kicking and screaming.

and secondly, just listen to the rhetoric from ward's camp, and even ward himself: they don't want that fight all that much either. not now or in the near future, anyway. you don't crap on a fighter or a fight that you really want. you certainly don't say that the fight wouldn't be big, or that he doesn't bring a lot to the table in terms of accomplishments, which they've done. they don't want to, or can't fight at 168.

i'd favor ward, and so should any reasonable person. so for that reason i think that ward's handlers would want the fight more than golovkin's. but the real world is a lot less binary than bscene. just because golvokin's people want the fight less, doesn't mean that ward's people, or even ward himself, are ****ing down golovkin's door for the fight. that fight was offered, according to loeffler, while golovkin was under contract to fight lemieux on ppv. interviews at the time made it sound like loeffler expected a much better turnout on ppv against lemieux, and to build a relationship with goldenboy for the canelo fight [canelo hadn't beaten cotto yet, but the fight was signed.]

I hope they grow some balls in due time!

I know the Anti GGG Agenda is in full force, but what about some food for thoughts about the situation.

GGG needed an opponent, quick, very quick. Eubank pulled out for a fight in 8 weeks.

              Looking at 160
GGG called out everyone. Every top middleweight ducked him.

              Looking at 168
Zurdo has an injury, out for 5 months.
DeGale and Jack have a unification at the end of the year.

              Looking at 154
Andrade wants to unify first and face GGG for big $$$ in 2-3 years.
Lara talks big on twitter and in interviews, never once his team contacted K2, also has no fans, also gets no $$ from HBO. Also his own promoter says fight cannot happen because of "TV problems":

Charlo bros want nothing to do with GGG.

              Looking at 147
Brook, ranked #1 at 147, undeafeated, huge at the weight, steps up and takes the deal Eubank declined, HBO already had the UK deal with K2 and Matchroom ready and needed a willing opponent for a fight in 8 weeks.

Ding Ding Ding we have a winner. Probs to Kell Brook for knocking out all the cowards with one shot and giving the GGG Antis a meltdown.

Marvin Hagler, one of the ATG MWs, his biggest fights were against the best guys from lower weights (Duran, Hearns, and Sugar Ray Leonard, who was a huge welterweight like Brook who actually defeated Marvin Hagler)
Perfect post man. This is the ****ing context I'm talking about.

I think there is still context to consider. I mean whos better for GGG to fight a non legit top ten 160lber or fight a guy many consider the best 147lber? Canelo recently did a similar move, but to me that was a far bigger "boxing fan crime" since he coulda had big fights with GGG or Lemiuex among others likely willing to fight him at 160 vs him deciding to fight a arguably top 5 at best 147lber.

So I don't necessarily think all 160 guy fighting a 147 guy scenarios are all created equal. But yea anyone hyping Canelo vs Khan and ****ting on this fight are fanboys for sure.

The Canelo-Khan fight was a farce from the start and that fight got the response it deserved. But thats not the only other fight out there that had the best fight of a certain division take on another fighter two weight classes below.

Brook wouldn't even be able lace Duran's boots. And at least Duran won a title at 154 against a very good fighter in Davey Moore before earning his shot against Hagler. Brook has been feasting on B level fighters at 147. Duran was already a legend and future hall of famer when he fought Hagler.

I wish I could find a way to justify this fight because I love GGG, but I just can't.
