**** YEAH!!!! Huge mega fight right here, Brook>Khan. Brook has a big name. And to all the idiots who cant understand this, the plan is to stay light and close to Canelo. This signals that Gennady is preparing to move down a few pounds to get the Canelo fight sooner. Thats where the money fights are and Gennady is making the sacrifice to be great!!

I have never seen a destructive force be willing to move up or down sacrificing power and resistance just to cement his legacy with force since people his own weight dont wanna fight him. Gennady is a ****ing legend.

This fight is bad for the sport in general, but it's specifically very bad for welterweight, this means we won't be seeing Thurman vs Brook, Spence vs Brook or Brook vs any of the other top guys at 147, any time soon. He's going to obviously take a few easy fights to try and rebuild, by that time he'll be at 154. So Brook is pretty much done at 147.

Khan's never gonna give him the fight, and fighting GGG certainly isn't going to help. You might be right, but in theory Khan's answer is simply gonna be, well if he wins, he's not going near brook, and if he loses he'll say Brook is urm. . . Not elite or some **** (ironic I know)

Such negotiating tactic by Hearn is not new. Arum does it regularly. So does GBP, Schaefer, probably Haymon too, although he'd rather stay away from the media.

Hearn wants Khan desperately. But he has to deceive Khan into thinking he's got alternatives; that Khan is not their first choice, yada yada. This is to alleviate Khan's A-side insistence.
