It'd been nice if he became the #1 contender by beating a top 10 ranked fighter. Stiverne atleast earned his spot when he beat Chris. Malik Scott was ranked freaking #23 by the WBC for that joke of an eliminator.

    Man, sit down...

Anything can happen in the HW division. Nobody thought Douglas would beat tyson. Nobody thought Wlad would lose to Sanders or Fury. Nobody thought Bonecrusher would beat Tim Witherspoon. Nobody thought Foreman could win a title at 45. Bruno finally won a world title on his 4th attempt. I would not be shocked if Arreola caught Wilder. Highly unlikely at this stage of Arreola's career but not impossible. That is why it's the best division.

The funny thing is that even though Arreola hasn't looked any good in years, and his training consists of constructing bongs, would anyone actually be in shock if he beat Wilder? i know i wouldn't be. A bit surprised maybe, as i think it's unlikely, but i definitely wouldn't be shocked.

That probably says more about Wilder than Arreola though.

Yeah Tureano Johnson and Wade had knocked off top 10 ranked fighters to get their ranking...How can I keep forgetting all these top fighters in MW that they knocked out...

It's been 7 years since Vitali destroyed him and he's done absolutely **** all since then but somehow perpetually remains in the HW title conversation. As a trainer/manager that's the guy you want.
He didn't do much before he fought Vitali either. But you can pretend that he did.
