61 year old man uses boxing skills to defeat bear

I give props to the ol' bastard for going toe to toe, but in truth, his finishing skills leave a lot to be desired. Rule of boxing: defend yourself at all times. After he had the bear turn away and bleeding from his nose, the man should have swarmed him and finished him off, or at least made him take a knee. Ol' man could be eating bear meat right about now if he did the job right.

1. a former bear hunter, walks his dog in a wooded area with bears but doesnt bring a gun? makes no sense

2. Those scratches he has are nothing, that doesnt seem anything close to a bear attack.
