spence is pretty unproven and yet garcia still wno't fight him. what does that say about garcia? he literally will only fight washed up fighters like malignaggi, guerrero, and berto.

Spence has all the tools to KO someone like Garcia. Still want to see more from him, but I think the kid has a bright future. I can see him moving up and knocking out Canelo as well.Comment

Danny Garcia's chin is is very sturdy so I can see a decision being more likely. But don't count DSG out, he always finds a way to win.Comment

lmaoo Danny is no algierie bum and has of the best chins in boxing spence doesn't have a shot he hasn't even proven he can beat a tough fighter let him fight Peterson or porter before you can say he can compete with the big dogs at 147Comment

As usual Foxx I agree with you 110%!!! I dont want to sound like a Spence hater because the young man has potential but the guy gives Mayweather & Broner a tuff sparring match and beats Algeri who had no signifcant win at 147 and now he beats everyone at 147? Freaken ridiculous! Funny thing is everyone think Kell Brook is the only guy that could beat Spence but I think Kell loses to Vargas all bias aside. Also at this point, Ive seen Garcia go 12 hard rounds and come out with W's, havent seen that from Spence, so Im going with Garcia by UD or late TKO at this point. Still to early to bet my house on it but at this point havent seen anything at all from Spence worth worrying.Indeed. Someone bump one of many "Matthysee will MURDER Garcia" threads. I'll even admit to thinking that was the case. Garcia deserves a degree of criticism but he's risen to the occasion before. Spence has been elevated to ATG fantasy status because of 1 victory, against an unsturdy guy who himself had only 1 decent win.Comment

What a ridiculous comment. Spence destroys Garcia – an established, unbeaten world champion – but should stay away from big bad Kell Brook? Brook who has precisely one win, two years old, against a reputable fighter, which came via an insipid, scrappy, clinch-filled points decision?
Personally think Spence/Garcia/Brook would all be competitive. All very talented fighters with strong attributes. Spence annihilated Algieri but is still pretty green. Garcia is flat-footed but deceptively clever, a terrific counterpuncher, compact, powerful. Brook is slick and quick with a good boxing brain. Spence is probably the most talented of the bunch but not at his peak yet; there are some question marks over Brook because of his limited experience at top level; Garcia can be beat (Herrera arguably beat him, ditto Peterson) or certainly troubled, though he can also perform at a very high level (Matthysse, Guerrero). I just want to see these damn fights get made sooner or later.Comment
