Danny may not be the mobile fighters we would have loved to see but its difficult to beat him.His left hooks are dynamite and he has a granite chin..One thing which is not too clear on Spence is his ability to take punishment.

Spence vs any of the top ww's would be good to great fights. I favor Spence over all of them right now. I don't think he'll ko any of them except Khan. He may get Thurman with body shots. I'd be overjoyed if these fights could all be made before 2019. That would be Spence vs
Garcia
Thurman
Brook
Porter
Khan
Vargas
Bradley
Vasquez/Diaz winner
Crawford cause he might be a jmw by 2019
If he goes through all these guys with no loses he's got be the #1 or #2 p4p fighterComment

Danny got buzzed by Zab Judah. Was holding on like Pepe Le Pew after Matthysse knocked his mouthpiece out.
Not unrealistic to think Spence ices himComment

Indeed. Someone bump one of many "Matthysee will MURDER Garcia" threads. I'll even admit to thinking that was the case. Garcia deserves a degree of criticism but he's risen to the occasion before. Spence has been elevated to ATG fantasy status because of 1 victory, against an unsturdy guy who himself had only 1 decent win.
I agree with you about Spence as well. Perhaps I favor defensive too much but he seems to get hit a lot by C level opposition. That leads me to believe he'll have a hard time when he steps up to opponents that are physical stronger or that can really punch. Spence seems like a decent kid so hopefully I'm wrong....Comment

Judah didn't have him seriously hurt. As far as Matthysse, Danny took his power just fine; and dropped him, broke his face, etc. Its only not unrealistic to think that Spence ices Garcia (@ this stage in Spence's career) if you consider either of those instances as evidence of a weak chin, which they simply aren't. Spence is awesome, and will be p4p soon; but he would have a very hard time even beating Danny right now, much less stopping him.Comment

Buzzed by Judah and holding on for dear life final rounds vs Matthysse.
lol at "dropped him". Go back and watch that "knockdown" again.Comment

You sound like one of those guys that knew that Garcia wouldn't fight Matthysse, and then knew that Garcia would get knocked out. You saw how that turned out. Danny beat Matthysse in a competitive, but very clear, manner so there's no need to argue about the minutia of that fight. Danny's not invincible, but he will manage to dispatch a couple more boogeymen at welterweight.Comment

A lot of good potential match ups in this divison right now. I wanna see a tournament style set up. I always felt those were good for boxing. They promote competition and discourage ducking. When you have so many good names and boxers in one divison, tournament is the only way to go.Comment

So what Gift Farcia is junk. He depends on gift decisions and illegal punches like the rabbit punch he hurt Kahn with forcing a stoppage. Shouldve been a DQComment

Mauricio "The Mexican" Herrera schooled danny "Tropical Mexican "garcia.....and the Tropical Mexican also paid step aside money to Victor Postol....who is now gonna fight Crawford on PPV .....but on another note there seems to be a really good combination of great match ups at welterweight...but dont worry ladies and gentlemen these potentially good matchups wont happenComment
