Ward fans are in for a huge wake up call in this fight. Ward is no Roy Jones, he's no Calzaghe, and he's no Kovalev.

When it comes to boxing, the only things more over-rated than power are "P4P" and "lineal"..... especially if we are talking about the elite level.

The "Kovalev will walk right through Ward" team..... are fkn dreaming.

We heard all that same stuff about May/Pac.

That fight WILL be a boxing match, and will most likely result in a decision.

I largely agree with that earlier post from Redd Foxx, although I'm not sure if I favor Ward quite as much as he does..... Kovalev is legit, and despite the fact that Red correctly pointed out that Ward and Hopkins are different fighters, there are two things that worry me a little about the Hopkins/Kovalev fight.

But I'm sure Hunter and Ward will examine that fight in great detail.

This will likely come down to adjustments, and JDJ could have a huge roll to play in that fight.

It's a GREAT fight.

I'm riding with Ward, but Krusher is going to be very formidable indeed.

Krusher will pursue Ward like a lion pusuing a Hyena,KO him in 5.Ward has never been hit with anything even as hard as Krusher's jab..Ward will se God,then he will truly be the son of God unless he drops a bible on his foot and has to call off the fight,hee hee funny,funny..SOG my Ass.

Whatever happens winner will undoubtedly be #1 p4p in boxing. My money's on Kovalev but if anyone can upset him it's Ward. Outside of that I don't see anyone coming close to beating him, unless it's cruiserweight.

Nowhere did I mention P4P or lineal.

I do agree it will be a boxing match but I think Kovalev has the skills to land his power. He will punish Ward and knock him out. By no means will it be an easy fight for Kovalev, but I think he will pull it off.

Can you explain this to PunchyPuff??? Most ppl rank el chocolatito #1 P4P. But he throws 60-80 punches a round. Kovalev needs only 1 to take you out.

That's I'm betting $$$$$$ on the over. Ward hasn't lost since like middle school. He's got MAD skillz... Kov. Is a Gangsta but he knows he can't F around and go all head huntin on Ward...EASY $$$$ for me.

Kovalev's jab to the body will be the key that opens Ward up to Krusher's right cross and follow up combos.

A jab to the body is one of the ******est punches in boxing, and that's coming from a Floyd fan. Its almost impossible not to lunge with it. And Kovalev doesn't have great handspeed. Ward's gonna counter over the top of that bull**** all night long.
