Anyone who thinks Kovalev can't box is just foolish. And he has a great trainer, but most importantly he listens to JDJ and follows instructions extremely well. This will be both fighter's toughest fights. I'm going with Kovalev. I just don't think Ward can stand up to those punches, and he will definitely be hit.

This fight most likely won't live up to the hype! If Ward can't make Kovlev respect his power it's going to be a long night for him. But if Kovlev goes all head hunting and such that could frustrate the CRAP out of him when he can't land that homerun shot. This should be a chess match with the smarter fighter winning. I don't think either one is getting KO'd! Out of all the ways to bet this fight taking the over is the safest bet.

This is BOTH their toughest fight EVER!!!! Who wins this fight is #1 P4P in the WORLD!

No disrespect to El Chocolatito but this is BIG boy fighting. Were neither guy can make a mistake or it's LIGHTS OUT!!! Those smaller guys can make TONS of mistakes with very lil consequences. They beat you with VOLUME punches. What's the average punches thrown at Flyweight??? 60? 70? 80???

Jdj a great trainer, um no he's not. This the same guy that because he trains crusher tried to make an 8ko fighter in Chris A some brawler. Hmmm ok.

Kovalevs chin would have to be weaker than Khans. Most Wards opponents make many mistakes and the lights hardly ever go out.

Didn't he pick Cleverly to beat Kovalev & Hopkins to beat Kovalev too?! I also remember him predicting Bellew to STOP Cleverly! He's pretty dire at predictions..

I still can't believe he called Kovalev CRUDE!
I never read the article because JN is too much of a joker for me to take seriously but how can he call Kovalev crude and assumingly heap praise on Ward who is the one that is crude?
Maybe he mixed names up here?

Bbbbut at least he is going to fight him so lets ignore the 20 tune-ups before the fight actually happens

I honestly cant wait for this fight so many people are going to be proved wrong, kovalev isnt just a "big puncher" like many people think and ward is no muhammed ali, kovalev will destroy ward in there, too much size and power difference, kovalevs jab will be a huge factor, anybody noticed how kovalev will trade against the boxer just to land his own shots? He did some very smart things with hopkins who never came to fight, very negative hopkins in that fight, ward will try to throw combos and be punished in the exchanges just like hopkins when he decided to let his hands go,kovalevs power is extreme
