Saying Canelo has to move up an entire weight class is a huge cop out. Like I said, his last five fight have been at 155, the last time he came in at 154 or below was 2013. Why were his fights against Kirkland, Lara and Angulo at 155? Could it possibly be because he no longer feels comfortable making 154?

I honestly can't believe there are people out there defending Canelo.

That list of Canelo advantages is pretty funny. I'll agree with you on some of those but this funniest one is ring IQ, GGG takes that one by a mile.
There has never been an offer to accept/reject/negotiate and that is why the entire premise of the "GGG should have agreed to a CW" argument is a nonsense

The last time Canelo was 154 on weigh in day was against Mayweather; that's nearly three years ago!

Canelo had to pay Angulo $100,000 because he couldn't make 154 LOL Just think about how bizarre that is, he would rather pay $100,000 than lose 1lb.

      the promise:
" Golovkin is willing to fight any man from 154 to 168..... "
" Golovkin Would Fight Ward at 168 and Canelo at 154..... "

      the truth:
..... he killed BOTH fights over the weight.....
      " Canelo..... 160 or no fight "
      " Ward..... 164 or no fight "

Nothing is set until a contract is signed and a date is made official.

And the fact that Canelo fans want to defend this crap is pathetic.

          1) because the lying b1tch manufactured his reputation by running around for FOUR YEARS saying this..... "anyone from 154-168"..... and yet, not only has Golovkin never attempted to back that **** up, not even ONCE..... he avoided the opportunity TWICE!

It is aboutfkntime that Golovkin backed up his big mouth..... and it is also aboutfkntime that you fanboys grew up and decided to hold a grown man responsible for his words/actions.

          2) because Golovkin pulled that exact same stunt on Andre Ward, and he justified the catchweight demand by stating that he was the "A-side"..... and Canelo most definitely is the A-side in that equation..... so Golovkin needs to stop being a hypocrite, and he needs to stop avoiding world-class opposition.

          3) because it would be Golovkin's biggest payday EVER

          4) because he is absolutely desperate for exposure considering that his recent PPV exploits were not successful

          5) why do you run a convenient set of revolving double-standards to justify/hide the fact that YOU were lied to..... ?

Canelo ducked lil'G, just like lil'G ducked Ward.

The ONLY difference is, Canelo has not been running around for FOUR YEARS saying that he can beat everyone at 160, like Golovkin did regarding 168...... and Canelo has not been mentioning other middleweights, like Golovkin did at 168 with Chavez, Froch, Hopkins, Chudinov, Ramirez, etc.....

Canelo stated "we don't fk around" ONCE, then..... he fk'd around.

Golovkin ran around for FOUR YEARS building his reputation by stating the he "can beat anyone from 154-168"...... but then he killed TWO huge fights over the weight.....

            The WBC title meant nothing.....
            1) Canelo dumped that ****, eventually
            2) Canelo is clearly not a MW, and will make 154 no prob for Smith

The two situations are not really even similar.

              In summary:

K2 ducked Ward, considered the #1 P4P fighter, a SMW.

Golovkin is overhyped because of his resume.

GBP ducked the overhyped cab driver destroyer who is slightly smaller than Canelo.
