Comments Thread For: Malignaggi: Canelo Brought 'Ducking Golovkin' Critics on Himself

Brooklyn, NY - In the boxing world, it seems like everyone has an opinion or is talking about the series of decision made by Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez (47-1-1, 33KOs) - to drop his WBC middleweight title and postpone a potential fight with Gennady 'GGG' Golovkin (35-0, 32KOs) until the fall of 2017.

He is a f.. coward. Period. And I'm mexican born and raised by the way. He is such an embarrassment to our country. He knows that GGG is going to demolish him.

Canelo does act like a frequent biatch. He has dudes come up in weight to face him, or he blows up 20lbs on fight night for weight advantage. Then he has someone staring him in the face that is no longer a midget, and he runs like a *****. I"ve lost huge respect that I may have had for him in the past.

ya but its really not set everyone mentions kov and ward as an example but in their situation they actually came to real paper to pen agreement and just agreed to work out the date and venue and such later on where as ggg canelo is just a verbal agreement which means absolutely nothing

LOL, no it's not. All Alvarez and Oscar have done is put it off for a year in hopes Golovkin either gets old or leaves middleweight.

I hope HBO actually grows a pair and calls Alvarez out for ducking. Probably not. More likely they'll talk about the fight being official for 2017, as if it really is.
