Haymon had a lot of flak aimed his way mainly from fans that didn't understand what he was doing and jumped the gun with their critism. It was clear that he was gonna follow the UFC model to an extent; sign the talent, develop a platform and then put on the big fights. He's gonna have these guys fight each other anyway so why not create extra buzz with a tournament format?

You're idea of bringing Floyd in adds an extra dimension. That'd be a smart move for all concerned. At the moment I don't see anyone worth him coming back for in terms of talent coupled with appeal.
