I'm 20 and I still don't feel like I've fully matured into my body yet, how tf did Mike become world champion at 20. It's mental

the only "modern" hw who had the style and skill to trouble mike tyson would have been vitali klitschko. he had an iron chin and he was a very good ring general. i think he was a very good fighter at his best, he just didn't have a great pro career like his brohter. i also think he's just too slow to put enough leather on tyson to bust him up. he's not going to line up those straight right hands the way he did on kirk johnson. it will be the slapping vitali having trouble getting gloves on a much faster guy with head movement.

longer bodies, which virtually all great HW have been, take a while to mature. tyson was filled out like a man in his middle teens, and his style was suited for a young man provided that he could punch and take punches from big guys. and he could.

tyson was a fully unique quantity. there's never been a fighter like that before or since. there have been shorter, stocky HW, but they couldn't move like that, or punch like that. tyson had some of the bets head movement i've ever seen. and he was a 220 lb HW . most guys that size just take a step back or swat a punch away. tyson could move his head three times and hit you with a hook before you could get your right hand back in the holster.

          Joshua
          -Wilder
          -Fury
          -Klitschko

We'll see about Joshua lets give the kid a chance to gain 35 bouts!
The others get KO'd, simple as that!

Mike Tyson was NEVER 5'11" at best 5'10" on a "long day"! ha! Now he's 5'9" at the longest part of the day. All fighters loose height with age, try doing road work for 20-25 years and see what happens to your ankles, shins and knees!

Klitschko with emanuel steward beats anyone really, he will jab and every time tyson wanted to come in he would clinch and he would do that for 36 minutes

Agreed. He was also KOing grown men while in his teens! Cus D'Amato was a tremendous trainer, & Mike was the perfect student. People talk shit about Mike because of his legal trouble & losing fights to bums later in his career. However, He was the baddest man on the planet in his prime & people FEARED HIM!!

Like others I think Vitali beats Tyson, he was just a huge man with underrated skill and extremely solid whiskers. He also had a good workrate unlike Wlad and put the combinations together. In fact H2H Vitali for me is certainly the better fighter out of the brothers, he would have stood the test of time against anyone.

With Wlad - I think he is live against anybody including Tyson, but I just can't help think that Tyson would get to his chin early. He was too fast not to connect, and Wlad would go down somewhere in the first 6 rounds. Ironically I think Wlad's best chance against a lot of these guys would have been to land first because his power is effortless and devastating.

I do think Tyson Fury would have a great shot at beating Tyson, again just a huge size difference and Fury has ability and is cute defensively, he ties you up and can fight in the pocket impressively for a tall fighter. I would have Tyson early or Fury late in that fight. I know lots of people will laugh at this or be appalled (or maybe both) but size matters. If Fury was 6-3 220 he would have 0 chance.

Wilder-Tyson is Rock em Sock em. First guy that lands probably wins, I would think it would be Tyson, Wilder makes technical mistakes and the fundamentals are not there, he is sloppy. Tyson by KO early.

Joshua - haven't seen enough of him at a higher level to make a sound judgement. He is better fundamentally than Wilder and has pedigree, but you can't look past Tyson in this fight Joshua doesn't know enough even if he does carry awesome firepower.

                  -Joshua
                  -Wilder
                  -Fury
                  -Klitschko
Just to name a few. Tyson as many are aware was listed as 5"11 and has even been said go have been closer to 5"9. I will let someone else get the ball rolling... :boxing

Oh yeah guys, watch the Jose Ribalta fight...
Tyson was not 5'9'' lol He was the perfect height for his build and style. All slip and slide and pure torque and power.

If journeymen could hurt Wlad, a prime Tyson would KO Wlad, no matter which Wlad turned up.

If Whyte can wobble AJ, then Tyson stops him too.

Wilder...lol let's not even go there.

tyson probably stops Fury too or Fury does his Ali impersonation and maybe survives all the rounds.

None of the modern day heavyweights mentioned has ever fought a fighter of Mike Tyson's caliber in this era. As a matter of fact, there has never been a Mike Tyson like heavyweight of this era who possessed the same kind of skill, defense, explosive power and speed as a primed Iron Mike Tyson. Therefore, Mike would mop up the floor with these modern day sized heavyweights.

Again, I have to agree with this. In his prime Tyson was a force of nature. He was in fact no more than 5'10 but built. When I met him I brought up his fight with Michael Spinks. I said "Mike I remember you knocking out Michael Spinks in 45 sec of round 1. He smiled at me and said "I think it was 30 seconds." I wasn't going to argue with him.
