its a possibility it will backfire, and which fighters were willing to fight him. I don't know all the ins and outs but I do know hes signed to fight the best guy in the division and one of the current best in boxing so I wont complain.

Joe held all 4 titles at SMW, plus the lineal, but not at the same time.

He relinquished his IBF title just before unifying the WBA, WBC and WBO belts, because HBO wouldn't screen his IBF mando against Stieglitz, who was unknown in the States.

When one guy is making 2m, the money is there to pay these guys. Most are not asking for a fortune, maybe 100-150k more than the 300k or whatever Ward wants to pay them. Forget Lemieux, Wade, every Ggg Hbo opponent except Monroe got a much much better split percentage wise than 2m vs 300k, or even 1.8m vs 500k.
Easy to say when it's not your money! If Ward is offering opponents more than their career high then he's being fair. Could it be better, yes, but it's not a travesty like some are making it out to be.

          Promotional problems with layoffs.

Haters just want to see him loose. If it was their favorite fighter they would be justifying that he needs the tune ups.

On top of that the only one willing to face him is Kov. Everybody else is running scared

you know GGG is the only fighter in history that has fighters avoid him...get with it

seriously, hardly anyone ever calls ward out....every now and then

who wants to get outboxed and embarassed unless its for mayweather money.....Thats why guys like ward and rigondeaux get avoided...they arent huge stars but they make their opponents look ******...mayweather had that issue as pretty boy floyd.

I didnt say it does,...you fools always try to put words in someones mouth

didnt he hold the wba he won from kessler and beat Froch for the wbc when they were both 1 and 2 in the divison...unless he got stripped..he was also ring and lineal champion.

...but Martinez, Cotto, Canelo, BJS, and Lee count as wins for GGG because "they ducked him"

it works both ways...unless you think chilemba who has drew or lost to every world class guy he fought is good preparation for a fighter like ward

                    you dudes are slow

neither guy has an opponent to prepare them for each other

He has taken **** opposition for 4 years now, what was the excuse from 2012 till the brand fight? Who was he waiting for?
