It really isn't a bad fight. Smith is one of the beltholders at 154 and should be competitive with Canelo.

Canelo makes fights good. With the exception of the Lara fight Canelo's fights are always good action packed exciting fights. Lara makes almost any fight dull. Canelo comes to fight. Canelo is fighting a world champ at the standard 154 pounds. He isn't trying to start his own 155 pound weight class that his haters falsely accused him of. He isn't dragging a welterweight up to his weight for a size advantage that his haters falsely accused him of. Canelo will take the fight to Smith, knock him out and take his world title with a display of skilled boxing and vicious punching. It will be a good fight as long as it last.

Canelo is fighting a world champion but you are complaining that he is fighting an English world champion. Santa Cruz is also fighting and English world champion. A world champion is a world champion. England has more than their share of world champions these days and they are just as hard to beat as champions from any other part of the world.
