This is the thing. We can take something that may be factually or statistically correct but once it's used the prop up a fallacy the 'truth' of it is lost and it becomes a lie.

I wasn't jibing with my previous post by the way. Fury's pissed off a lot of groups recently who are adept at lobbying and using the media. It's far from inconceivable that a member of one of those has contacted a journalist with a 'scoop' and slandered him like he's slandered them.

i'm not super familiar with UK print news sources, but there are several of them carrying hte story, and i don't know if they'd be runningwith it if the story was just a bunch of trumped up rumors from a tabloid, the way some of the brits are trying to make it look.
        Ah OK thanks for clarifying

A story breaks that Fury is apparently under investigation, an allegation he (and his team deny), all you're seeing from other UK based websites are them reporting "Fury and his team deny allegation"

Remember, these websites will report any rumour/story that may attract visitors to their sites, thats how they make their money.

I'm waiting for one of our friends across the pond to quote the highly trusted daily mail online lol
