I disagree. If Brook beats Vargas, Thurman-Brook is the fight that needs to be made. Damny hasn't done **** at 47. Danny needs to fight and beat someone like Bradley, Porter, or even a rematch with Khan to kinda put himself in that winner's bracket with Brook and Thurman.

I am having Lucas Matthysse Era flashbacks right here.

Garcia/Thurman is happening sooner than later, don't get it twisted.

Ima roll with Puerto Rican in this MYTHICAL fight DSG aint a b1tch and has skill. I say mythical because the real fight is going to be DSG vs. Vargas after Vargas shocks the world. 2 prime Latin Americans (Chicano vs Boriqua) fighting for 3 belts, East Coast vs. West Coast (Philly vs Vegas), TR vs PBC, left hook vs. right cross! Winner becomes a STAR!! Puts boxing back on the map!!! Thurman and Spence could fight on this undercard and maybe get a shot at the winner if they are lucky.

Ya body shots look like Keith's weakness, Cotto level body shots could quite possibly crumple him.

A few good fights in two years is bullisht and you know it.

Mares vs Santa Cruz was very one-sided. I want to see Santa Cruz vs Rigo, Lomachenko, Gary Russell, Gamboa, or Donaire, not a much smaller fighter in Mares.

Porter vs Thurman was nice but everyone wants to see Thurman vs Garcia. Why didn't that happen already? Why isn't it at least next? No one wants to see Garcia-Berto, everyone wants to see Thurman-Garcia, so if they care about the fans, why don't they make the fight the fans want to see when they want to see it, right now? No, they're already talking PPV for that fight, so I rest my case.

I say naw! Give Danny someone he can beat like an Andre Berto or Adrien Broner in keeping true to his cherry picking nature.

Hopefully Jesse Vargas can bring the IBF title belt back to America so we can have a welterweight unification tournament.

In all seriousness, if this fight does come to fruition, it won't happen until sometime in early 2017. The reason being is that Danny Garcia has a mandatory defense against Amir Khan and from what I've been hearing, Amir plans on exercising that option sometime in the month of December of this year.
