Great fight. Would have pegged Parker to win before seeing the Takam fight but now I'm not as confident.

So basically you over rated parker and under estimated joshua....joshua would always have beaten parker ....tecnically much better

easy night for joshua, parkers been vastly overrated takam only fighter of any note on his record and hes shot fought like a sparring partner and yet still parker was gassed out repeatedlym, his oppositions been worse as joshuas yet hes never looked as good

I doubt many of you have watched Parker fight, if you believe he is a threat. He May be regarded as a talented young fighter, yet take a look at his fights. He's going to be outclassed.

The kid has a terrible resume for a fighter being handed a title shot, which can't be helped due to his age, yet it's too early for Parker to be fighting for a world title.

Just watched the Parker/Takam fight although it seems people are suggesting it was a poor performance from Parker compared to previous fights?

My Opinion: Takam was good defensively but just didn't throw enough. Parker seems to have decent handspeed, some good combinations but seemed to lack power.

From that performance, I don't see anything that gives Parker an advantage over Joshua. He leaned all over Takam in that fight, something he won't be able to do with Joshua as he as a 2" height advantage as opposed to Parkers 2.5" advantage over Takam. Joshua also has a 6" reach advantage and a better jab.

That being said, Parker beats all of Joshuas previous opponents, perhaps with the exception of Dillian Whyte and Breazeale (I think Parker beats both of these too but not straightforward wins).

They've already said there gonna deal with parker......November or early December will be the date and watch joshau dispatch of parker as well, everybody has a plan untill they step into the ring with joshua ....he hits you and busts you up

Good. I want Joshua to keep winning, keep KOing opponents. Same for Wilder because if the stars align correctly, they will be set up for a massive UK vs USA unification fight! That is extremely exciting for this sport.

I don't have a problem with this fight. Parker is one of the top prospects in the division. Joshua is still growing & improving & fighting a guy like Parker is fine.

hopefully they can get wilder in the ring and get rid of that bum instead so we can stop the bum parade that wilder is on.
