Ward is another level of fighter to Pascal...he knows all the nuances and has a good offense as well, He transitions from offense to defense seemlessly whereas with a fighter like Pascal its either one thing or the other
Obviously, but same goes for Kova and Froch.

Froch had a war with Pasal, Kova battered him twice, and a much more experienced Pascal, Kova also battered Hopkins.

Hopkins was old as fck, but Nard has no answer technically and tactically wich impressed me.

Nard work behing his jab, and Kova countered his jab with double right hands all night long pushing him in the ropes with his jab.
        Smart game plan...

Kova set up his opponents and work to the body and the head, he's a quite creative puncher.

My pooint is Ward needs to clinch and frustrate Kova, making it a "jail fight" Hopkins being old and a former MW didn't have the strenght to "street fight" Kova.

Ward will need to bring blazing speed and helluva dirty game plan.

His punching power is bigger, yeah, but he doesn't have the speed or skills to take advantage of it. Kovalev is not on a different level from Froch or Kessler, he's around their level. Ward will absolutely clown him and it's obvious to anyone who knows anything about boxing. To be honest, we should already start thinking about who that could be a fitting opponent for Ward when he's done with Kovalev and who Kovalev should face in a confidence booster to get back on track after Ward beats him.
Kovalev doesn't have a bigger size advantage as a LHW than super middleweights? Are you really this dumb?

Ward is a good fighter but he is no genius. He got hurt and knocked down by a guy who has lost more fights than he has won. Kovalev is superior to Kessler and Froch. He pitched a shutout over the very clever Hopkins. Ward is better than Hopkins but not as rugged. Kovalev will catch Ward and KO him in my opinion and I'll be backing that opinion with a fairly large bet. No way in hell does Eubanks go 12 rounds with GGG. That light puncher he just fought staggered him. GGG would KO him as cold as Canelo KOed Khan.

You really need to change your name. The boastful name you chose for yourself doesn't suit you. A boxing expert you are not.

Kovalev is better than either of those guys by a considerable margin imo.

                  they were young upstarts then

win or lose, ward isnt taking those shots Pascal took...he is wide open to straight shots

Ward gives you different looks in one fight, keeps his opponent guessing....man I havent been this hype for a fight since Corrales vs Castillo...i hope this delivers like that one did

Kovalev is about as comparable to Froch as Golovkin is to Canelo! Different level & way more dimensions to him.. OP's a tool!
