In no way is brand Kovalev but it helps give him rounds against ranked opponent. Don't you think he would want a bigger name? He is a avoided fighter without a huge payday. He needs to shed rust. He should also pay top guys for gym fights Kovalev toughest fight of career he has not lost in over 20 years but fighting best opponent of career off 2 year layoff will be rough 50/50 fight if Ward was sharp 60/40

Hunter has turned a decent fighter into a clown , this guy has only fought at s.middle and was beaten by Badu Jack,Hasn't Hunter got enough clowns in his camp with Khan ....this is a cop out fight and it looks like Kovalev with this kind of prep will take Ward out of his boots and bye bye Virgil Hunter who's always telling everyone to step up....clown!
