Between the money from primetime on BoxNation in the UK, primetime on Sat.1 in Germany, and matinee/evening on HBO, you're likely talking about more than $3m (assuming a 50/50, where Saunders gets $1.5m and Golovkin gets $1.5m) before even counting the live gate related revenues. you played yourself.

Golovkin-Jacobs is a massive fight; between the live gate for two fighters known in New York, the US TV rights (which may end up being on PPV, depending on how much a broadcaster backs their fighter), the TV rights in UK/Russia/EU (though the fight would air live at an ungodly hour, there's value to those deals), the TV rights in the Western Hemisphere (though Canadian/Latin American fans may not have super interest in the fight, the card is primetime here and stuff can be added to entice those audiences), the live event sponsors for the fight (Apple/Jordan being with Golovkin and NYC business likely being interested in the Brooklyn-born Daniel Jacobs), you're easily looking at $10m in fight revenue being generated, with the two main event fighters likely splitting up $4m-$6m, at least. lol

Daniel Jacobs will fight Sergio Mora (in August/September), the WBA will order Golovkin-Jacobs, Lou DiBella (representing Daniel Jacobs) is likely to win the purse bid (depending on how long K2 tries to stall things, the bid should be called by November), and DiBella will likely look to stage the fight February at the Barclays Center in NYC, likely for Showtime (SHOPPV possibly).

whether K2 actually goes through with making the title defense is on them (I have no doubt that, not unlike when Andre Ward made them change their prior spiel about "fighting anyone 154-168", K2 will come forward with some nonsense about not wanting to give up the Alvarez fight, to justify vacating their own 160 belt), the path is set for Golovkin-Jacobs to happen a lot sooner than is being acknowledged here, on terms that are more than right for Jacobs.

The fight against Triple' G 'will come at the right time. Whenever this fight arrives, it will be fine for me in all aspects, and that's the only reason why the fight has not been made. I know it will happen very soon. I'd say in the next year and a half or something like that. I want to pick up the belts, and then go for taste. It will be much more valuable rather than just do it at this time. I'll fight anybody, and I want to fight Triple ‘G’. My point was that I wanted to fight BJ Saunders or possibly Canelo, and then go for Triple “G".
