The main event alone did a little more then that. But the entire card did just 2.12m less then all the pbc cards I listed. How is this fight getting less ratings then previous mismatches and lesser fights including by both Thurman and porter, yet them fighting each other in the biggest fight fight to date did less and the entire card did better then only 4 of the 10 sat prime time cards since PBC debuted. These are not good ratings and saying well its the most viewed of 2016 is misleading. They are the only ones on network TV so PBC by default has the most viewed regardless. And the the main event did slightly better Danny guerreo which was a mismatch but that entire card did better. and 3 of the next fights 2016 were all low quality fights that were utter disasters. So saying well its better then those alltime historic lows so these are great ratings? It don't work that way

Yup and everyone killed HBO because that was their worst ratings and below their 800k avg for HBO Boxing After Dark Ratings. Why are you comparing PBC to the WORST rating on HBO? Top fights on HBO do over 1mil viewers. GGG did what 1.33m on a network that has 1/3 the amount of homes.

GGG is a star and HBO is still the biggest name in boxing not fair to compare it to something that's been around barely over a year

1 fight did 2.4m you idiot. The entire show did 2.12m. CBS sells commercial time for the entire time slot so that's the numbers they care about. Not the just a 30m block. And even the main event is lower then all the PBC fights minus Danny vs Guerrero. So even by main event it's only the 5th highest PBC main event out of the 10 prime time cards. Whether you want to use main event or entire card its still not good enough even by PBC standards especially for the biggest and most promoted fight to date in PBC history.

            • NBC
              3.37m Thurman/Guerrero
              2.88m Garica/Peterson
              2.33m Porter/Broner
              2.2m Wilder/Duhaupas

              1.8m Figueroa/Demarco
              1.24m Spence/Algieri
              1.2m Fonfara/Smith

              FOX
              2.24m Garcia/Guerrero
              1.51m Berto/Ortiz

              CBS
              2.12m Thurman/Porter

And the main event did worse then all these fights except Garcia/Guerrero. So how are these good ratings just based in PBC ratings?

Was the point of PBC to do better then Fonfara, Berto ortiz, Spence algieri? Or is the goal to do better then Thurman guerrero, Danny Peterson, porter Broner, ect? This was the biggest fight in PBC history yet only the 5th highest main event and 6th highest card overall in ratings. And CBS first PBC card on prime time did worst then the first card on FOX and NBC. These ratings are all way down from last year and only better then 4 cards this year all featuring B and C class fighters. Against the A list fighters the card came in under those fights.
