    Like him or not, he fights to the level of his opposition so all of his fights are exciting.

      Thats a good one. I think vargas gets alot of hate for close decisions but hes pretty good. Has an underated jab. Who u got?

        No offense to any fans of his, but if I never had to watch Porter "box" again, it would be too soon. When he actually did box, he was very good. But that whole smothering tactic has about as much excitement as watching UFC guys grab and hold for 5 minutes.

          That was very random. Why are you attacking me for no reason without any proof?

          How about you stick to talking about boxing?

                Thurman-Porter was probably the first live fight I watched this year (I've gotten into a habit of watching the Sunday morning HBO replays...just been more convenient for my schedule). I was really looking forward to this fight as much as Vargas-Salido and it really delivered.

                Thurman has great appeal, I honestly feel like he could easily crossover. He's undefeated, "not afraid to let my 0 go," fights well, talks well enough, American...Al Haymon has the goods on a silver platter and is just coming around to knowing what to do with it. It's mildly embarrassing.

                I thought Porter looked like **** tho, he looked like he rehydrated way too much, looked sluggish from the opening minute and only got worse as he fatigued.

                  Should be hire to be honest but consider how boxing is at its lowest point it has ever been in a long time in the US that is Solid I guess

                  It is a fight that has people talking so that could be key for future boxing events as long as they keep the good fights and top guys keep fighting each other. You can also blame the fighters for PBC Struggles, guys just cashing checks and not taking advantage of the great platform by taking on THE BEST! The best need to fight the best and when they fight they need to put it all on the line and bring their best in the ring

                    CBS is a fraud!!! They didnt televise the fight on the westcoast! It was scheduled on the guide and instead they aired some bull**** programming! They have done it before with NFL GAMES too, chargers vs raiders! i dont buy they had great ratings! They prolly had horrible ratings

                      Boxing=JOKE

                      LMAO. 1970's fights generated 35 times the viewers as this little wimp slap fest. Great comparison showing how far boxing has fallen. All the PBC numbers are terrible, Saturday evening network slots should be multiple times more. Boxing does failing sitcom numbers. This fight will win over no casuals who want real fights not children's fights.
