At no time did Oscar ever considered making a Canelo vs GGG fight. He shouldn't have said the fight was sure to happen when he knew damn well it was not going to happen. Canelo should have vacated the WBC middleweight title the same day he won it from Cotto. I think most fans believe no 160 or 154 pounder is a match for GGG. Canelo vs Andrate would be a hell of a good fight and a more even fight than Canelo vs GGG. That's my dream matchup for Canelo. Meanwhile Canelo is fighting a champion at 154, not 155. He isn't attempting to start his own weight class as he has so often been accused of doing.

As well as it should. Since the razor thin Lara win he has fought a shot Kirkland, an old Cotto, and a glass chinned LWW. Faced with a threat he ran back down to a division he hasn't fought in in years to fight the worst title holder!. When I hear them say things like, "we need to let this marinate," it tells me they really mean, "let's squeeze out some more money before he loses."
