Canelo is doing what the fans allow him to do just like every other fighter in boxing. GGG also benefits financially from letting this marinate and build up so I'm over this fight at this point.

I don't understand this move at all. Especially with the theatrics in the ring post Khan. It's as if they don't understand marketing. But I agree Canelo's brand equity is in the ****ter right now. And they are not going to build this fight any bigger than it would have been now, they lost that momentum.

Canelo is absolutely despised in Mexico, mostly because of the Mayweather fight. His Mexican American fans are all he has left. I hope they desert that moda***a.

His stock should drop. For all the talk of ducking and dodging this is one of the most obvious and shameful ducks in boxing since Bowe vs Lewis.

Tend to agree. Canelo is likely to lose if he takes on a more serious 154 player in May and if he fights another Liam Smith caliber guy in May what exactly does that do to build things up? And on GGG's side he's just getting older by the day and putting this fight out another 15 months just risks that he's not what he is right now by then + how does he get bigger in 15mos when no one who can make him bigger will fight him?

Its a horrible decision all around that seems to have been made almost if not entirely to protect GBP's biggest asset in this trying time for them with an assist by K2's beta ass who makes no moves to try to force the biggest fight to make in boxing right now. F#ck all these momos.

It will be hard to tell how bad his stock plummeted fighting in the UK

Yeah but look at his Numbers, he doesn't have the attention of Casual American Fans yet CLEARLY because if he did his numbers would be much higher
