For all the crap you so called boxing fans give PBC, they have by far had the best boxing events this year on US TV. I find it hard to understand nwhat the hate is about at this point. Does PBC need work? Absolutely. But they have done quite well this year, at least in making great fights.
PBC/NBC done at the end of this year?

It took 2 years for them to finally put on a fight that people wanted to see, and happened to be a great fight.
Another problem is I never know what channel it's gonna be on. They are on every channel. I spent 30 minutes trying to find an nbc stream and it was on cbs the whole time.Comment

Don't blame Haymon and PBC for not being able to google what channel a fight is going to be on, lol.It took 2 years for them to finally put on a fight that people wanted to see, and happened to be a great fight.

They have enough fighters that they could assign certain ones to be the flagship stars for each network. That would give some continuity to the casual fans and they would have a better idea of where to tune in to watch specific fighters.During this proof of concept phase for PBC, no network is getting that for free. If a network wants the level of exclusivity, they will have to PAY for it.
You like that 2.5 to 4mil viewers that a Thurman, Garcia, or Wilder can bring your network in a random fight? You want a part in the future of a Errol Spence or Mikey Garcia? Pony up the dough, market them correctly, and you will have entire stable of such fighters at your disposal for programming and attracting that 18-35 key demographic.
That's the point.Comment
