I don't know why some of you guys sound so confused over this, there is an accurate timeline.....

    First it was, " Golovkin: I'll fight anyone at 154, 160, 168 "
    http://espn.go.com/blog/new-york/box...-at-154160-168

Then Andre Ward announced his comeback.....

    So it became, " Golovkin: I'll fight anyone at 154, 160, 164 "
Promoter Tom Loeffler of K2 Promotions, who handle IBO/WBA middleweight champion Gennady "GGG" Golovkin (33-0, 30 KOs), says a fight can certainly be worked out with WBA super middleweight king Andre Ward (28-0, 15 KOs). But the deal would have to be under Golovkin's terms and not dictated by Ward. Loeffler feels Golovkin has surpassed Ward as a ticket seller and in terms of name recognition - making GGG the A-side of the negotiations.

Then Ward said that he would consider a catchweight.....

So it became, " Nobody at 154/160 can go 12 rounds with Golovkin "
    http://www.mma-core.com/videos/Abel_...ht_us/10102303

Then Cotto/Canelo both insisted upon a catchweight.....

So now it is, " Gennady Golovkin eyes unification at middleweight "
WBA,WBC, and IBF middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin said he wants to fight the winner of November’s bout between Miguel Cotto and Saul “Canelo” Alvarez.

    Then Ward moved to LHW.

So NOW it is, " Golovkin Will Go Anywhere To Face Carl Froch! "
WBA/IBO/IBF middleweight champion Gennady "GGG" Golovkin (34-0, 31KOs) is still very interested in facing Carl Froch, according to the champion's head trainer Abel Sanchez. Froch (33-2, 24KOs) has been inactive since his big rematch win in May 2014, when he knocked out George Groves before a crowd of 80,000 fans.

We all knew it wasn't going to happen, so Tom should have had another fight ready for this summer, just in case. My concern is that at GGG's age, he needs to stay active to stay sharp. Tom's vision of 'superstardom' is actually backfiring, with no big names for all of 2016! At this stage, Team GGG needs to be in deep with other star opponents. It's disappointing.
Yes, GBP can thank Tom, I mean, easy work.

They did duck GGG vacating a belt, yet, Tom still waited after them like an idiot and didn't even expose their ducking to the public.

It's pretty much obvious Tom wants the Canelo fight and don't care about the rest, this fight would do around 1/1.5 million on PPV, and GGG is supposed to beat the guy.

By now, GGG will only fight twice in 2016, Wade and Eubank jr probably, wow, they better get Canelo in 2017 or GGG will start to realize his promoters are bum.

Probably his best opponent that he's fought. Good chin and power
Eubank Jr is shockingly bad as a fighter.

No where near as good or decorated as Kassim Ouma.
