Respect to Chris for wanting to fight the best in his own division, if only more would do this and stop trying to cash out!

You are hearing one version of the story.. While K2 is still singing the Canelo negotiations tune.. Let's not forget Hearn said the same thing about Golovkin-Brook as soon as Brook was due to fight & Canelo-Khan was announced.. Let them get it made, only then boxing fans will believe.. If it happens, it is among the last of the options left for Golovkin after Canelo, BJS, Lara..

I don't know if UK makes financial sense tbh.. Eubank cannot sellout O2 by his name alone & still fights on undercards, so is not even a main event fighter himself.. But on the contrary, fighting in UK will only put more pressure on BJS imo, as it will get people talking that it could have been him in the ring unifying titles instead of Eubank..
Financially US makes more sense & I think Hearn will try to sell it on a PPV in Skysports

This is great if he fights Eubank Jr.

                It would certainly:

                a) Pressure Saunders to fight him
                b) Give Golovkin a base in the UK to encourage a fight with Saunders
                c) Provide a good fight for GGG

With that said, I think Eubank Jr. gives GGG his hardest fight, ever (at least as a professional boxer).

I like to think this article is genuine but who knows. I do think that Eubank Jr is probably the best non unification fight aside from Canelo but people need to face it that Canelo does not want the GGG fight, it may happen in a few years time when GGG is closer to 40 but GB are not interested in putting their cash cow against GG in his prime.

It doesn't appear that BJS or Jacobs want the fight so lets get GGG vs Eubank Jr on. I personally think Eubank would beat DJ and already gave BJS a better fight than former world champ Andy Lee did.

2nd best middleweight is Saunders and then Eubank. I just dont think the middleweight division is any good. This move will almost certainly cause Saunders to fight him so i think GGG should do his utmost to secure this fight and therefore inflict pressure on Saunders. Hopefully Saunders can fight Canelo too and whoop his a$$.
