Comments Thread For: Golovkin vs. Eubank Jr. Can Be Signed By Next Week, Says Hearn

Eddie Hearn, who promotes British middleweight champion Chris Eubank Jr. (22-1, 17 KOs), says a potential fight with IBO/IBF/WBC/WBA middleweight world champion Gennady 'GGG' Golovkin (35-0, 32 KOs) could be finalized by next week - if Eubank and his father/trainer, Chris Eubank Sr., want that fight in the fall.

I was hoping to see a unification with Saunders but **** it. If not him or Canelo I don't mind the Eubank Jr. Fight. At l say GGG is trying to fight and stay active.

Out of Alvarez, Saunders, Jacobs, and Eubank - Eubank is the best possible opponent. His physical tools are greater than or equal to all those other fighters, plus he has something those other 3 don't - confidence. Unlike Alvarez, Saunders, and Jacobs, he's not afraid and he wants the fight. This is going to be an awesome fight.

Could just be a negotiation tactic to try and get Saunders to lower his demand. At least this fight will establish GGG well with British audience.

Going to have to pay BJ 3 million at some point though. Guys holding belt hostage.

i wonder if eddy hearns buttcheeks hurt talking out of his ass all the time. youre telling me eubank is gonna go from gary osullivan, tony jeter, nick blackwell, and now tom doran, straight into a fight with GGG. it was the same **** with kell brook. hes fighting domestic bums, it would be pretty hard not to take a step up in his next fight but it wont be Golovkin.

If GGG vs Eubank Jr does take place and GGG beats Eubank worse than BJS did do you think he'll ask for more money?

But this fight will never happen according to the experts on here. 90 percent of boxers are scared according to Boxing scene bloggers..

Another **** fight! HBO need to get out of the promoter business and just buy competitive fights the fans want to see.

Good fight but at the wrong time, hopefully it's a red herring for Golovkin-Canelo like Cotto for MayPac

Let's not forget how Hearn was negotiating with Khan for Brook then all of a sudden the Canelo-Khan fight was signed.
