what was he really gonnna gain from fighting Pascal who has never lost 2 fights in a row and is physically and emotionally affected by 2 fights like that

I cant see the vid, so can somebody please explain what Hunter says about Skoglund? I find it VERY difficult to believe that Skoglund just flat out refuses due to a random test scheme.

A true fan will acknowledge a good or great fighter when they see it. Andre Ward is one of my favorite boxers but he has his hands full with Kovalev who is no joke. Do I like Kovalev? No, I cant stand him but I acknowledge he is that good maybe even great. I do know this for a fact he is more than a threat to a superior boxer like Andre Ward and his undefeated streak. I can understand not liking or liking a fighter going by what your heart says because I have done it but I have grown and learned. Sometimes I troll but deep down I know whats up so to insinuate Im a fake fan is sorta absurd, but ok I guess.

I understand to an extent, people/fans expect more from Ward but its not like Ward is a champ fighting a bunch of nobodies. Personally to me as a fan I cant stand for champs to fight nobodies but thats not the case here. Wards actually just a contender right now so he has every right to take a contender route to prepare for the Champ.

He goes through a list of guys they wanted to fight and said he found it interesting that Skoglund accepted the fight but said no when they brought up VADA testing

There is definitely revenue to be made in Germany for sure. But regardless when you are arguably the P4P best in boxing and best American fighter right now it is still pathetic that someone can make more money fighting a no name guy in Germany.

What does that even have to do with anything? P4P does not mean drawing power. Gonzalez is the #1 P4P fighter and can't even headline his own show. GGG is #3 P4P and can't offer Saunders more money than Vargas is getting for Brook. Kovalev is #3 P4P and he has to go to other guys hometowns to fight. The only person on the P4P list that can offer guys good money is Canelo.
