  • Comments Thread For: Peter Fury Reacts To Hearn Over 'Crazy' Joshua-Fury Comments

Peter Fury, uncle and trainer of WBA/IBO/WBO heavyweight champion Tyson Fury (25-0, 18KOs), thinks Barry Hearn, founder of Matchroom Sport, is making 'crazy' comments with his recent claim that IBF heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua (16-0, 16KOs) is the number one heavyweight in the world.

Yeah but joshuas only had 16 pro fights and turned proffesional just over 3 1/2 years ago...fury turned pro almost 8 years ago and has had 25 fights.....bit of reality and perspective for you lol

          B. Hearn was around a young Lewis when he began his career as a pro and watched him grow . He claims Joshua when at 15 fights is better skilled thsn Lewis was and hits harder ,he would have a good indication bc i believe he was Lewis management /promoter of some sort back in the day . I would agree ,Lewis wasnt as athletic as Joshua and he said if Joshua fought Lewis even with just 15 fights he would win , i would probably tend to agree being Joshua is taller than Lewis and would force an inside fight that would nullify the Lewis jab . Point being Joshua is that good any way you look at it , thats why nobody has taken you up on thst bet and only someone who is not as cerebral watching boxing would .

As most like to ignore in this forum ,theres a reason AJ is favored over anyone but Wlad which is 50/50 I think, nothing remotely crazy about those statements by Hearn more sour g****s by the fury family, remeber these guys praised Martins skills over AJ's !

Furys #1 he beat the man that no one could beat since 2004. That makes him top dog in my eyes, but he has to do it again soon..

I like Joshua, hes exciting to watch and has a great future ahead of him. However Hearns claim of him being the best heavyweight on the planet right now, are over stretching the mark more that just a bit.

You should tell that to Eddie Hearn. He's saying his 16 fight novice is the best HW in the world RIGHT NOW.

A promoter talking **** about about a world champion like that is something that should never happen in boxing.

That white collar money man Hearn isn't going to take a single punch or shed one drop of sweat in the ring.

Hearn is right, if the real Klitschko turns up and not a shot old man Fury is fücked. He'll do him up like a kipper and it won't be pretty.

Hopefully Fury has made enough to buy his castle but hopefully not in Scotland, I like visiting the country the thought of bumping into that oaf whilst holidaying appeals none to me.
