You're right. And I have been very hard on Golovkin and especially his fans over that. His fans have become the worst fans on this site, and the Ward stuff is what proved it for good.

My post wasn't aimed at any specific fans of any fighter. It was aimed at all boxing fans. Because it is true of the huge majority of them.

Goddamn midgets man, just slipping through everything and working in. I'm trying to remember the fight, but I think he started off like 100 punches and hurt him and tried to finish him.

We'll see. He's getting old too... don't think they'll ever fight either. They haven't even been mandated yet, just elim. If GGG/Eubank does happen and it does well, Warren will jump on it because his ****ty Copper Box or w/e shows don't do anything near that. They had to cancel his last fight because nobody gave a crap about it

Why did Tom Loeffler allow that lie to float out there about offering BJS $4 mil when the offer was $1 mil? That made BJS look like he was ducking. This is the last belt so of course it's going to cost more the the IBF. I think $2.5 mil is a fair offer. Saunders needs to do something and stop hiding that belt. He's taken it hostage since he won it.

Every person on this site ( except the poster Golovkin ) would do the exact same thing that BJS has done why cut your career and earnings short but it's easy to criticize when you or not the one getting your head caved in . People were calling for BJS head & belt literally a week after he got the strap because they feel it's a easy target , the guy hasn't even defended it yet. It's his only leverage Let BJS flex

If K2 & Gennady value that belt so much then it's time to do overpay for it

I can't say i like Hearn that much but the guy puts up the money and gets fighters to come to the UK. He's even in talks to get GGG over to fight Eubank.

Warren on the other hand has no real clout anymore. He hasn't got the money to get fighters to come and fight his guys. Or he prices his guys out of fight wanting unrealistic money. That's why Crolla v Flanagan will never happen. Crolla is quite clearly the bigger draw and more high profile fighter at this point but Warren will never accept a lesser split.

Frank has had a great career as a promoter. I also like boxnation and think their international content is great but he's almost finished as a promoter i think. If i was the likes of Liam Smith, Saunders and Flanagan, i'd be out of there as soon as the contract was done. Say what you wan't about Hearn, if i was a British fighter then i'd go with him, he makes his guys money if they're good enough.

Also in regards to GGG v BJS. GGG doesn't even get huge purses anyway, so BJS isn't going to get a big purse fighting him.

Then that fight will never happen.

Most will likely cry about it..... blah blah "pride" blah blah "prove who is best" blah blah.

When Golovkin was willing to fight Froch/Chavez at 168, but not Ward..... Team Bull**** stated that the money had to be right, it was NOT about fighting the best..... of course, we all saw them flip-flop on that rubbish, and call out Chudinov/Ramirez as soon as Ward moved to LHW..... but, they said it nonetheless.

Team Bull**** are "my way or the highway", and they have very little to offer by way of financial reward..... so yea, Golovkin will never land a meaningful fight.

lol you're such a joke of a poster. Who the hell is going to pay $4 million to Saunders? That would only work if Golovkin fought for free but of course Golovkin needs to get paid too. So at best, what is it going to be, 50/50 purse split which in itself is laughable but for argument sake lets say 50/50, so that means $8 million, at least, just for the main event. For Billy Joe Saunders?! HBO isn't going to pay that on a regular budget and it's not going to PPV. Saunders isn't even popular in the UK. They can fight in the UK and it won't magically get them $8 million minimum for the purse, since Saunders is barely known.

What an idiotic post. lmao @ basic & common sense $4m for Billy freakin Saunders

However, you want the real truth? Loeffler is content even without the WBO for now, and it's safe to say that they wouldn't mind seeing Saunders defend that WBO. A shock loss, then they can give the new WBO challenger 1 mill or less. Saunders is the Champ, he can price himself as he pleases, he doesn't work for K2 or their future earning goals. Boxing is Business, no favors done!

                  Exactly !

Then he can quit playing all their fees and then fight REAL fights. Saunders is probably going to lose this belt and GGG will have to wait ANOTHER 1-2 years to get THAT guy in the ring. Wasting good money on fees to fight BUMS!
What do you mean Leoffler refuses to go above? Do you actually think the promoters are paying opponents out of pocket?! The money is paid by whatever network puts up the money, obviously in this case HBO. They surely can get some additional money in the UK. But if you think they are going to come up with $4 million for Saunders, a guy who isn't even popular in the UK, you're out of your mind. HBO doesn't pay that kind of cash to anyone. Golovkin's highest payday to date is $2 million so how is Saunders going to get double that?

He's not serious about pursuing greatnes if he doesn't do whatever it takes to get this fight.

Hold on, what about Canelo ?

I mean, you're right..... but the same applies to Canelo, even more-so.

Any other fighter in the WORLD would do whatever it took to land a Canelo fight..... same with Cotto. Most fighters would cut off one of their fingers for that opportunity.

GGG stated for FOUR YEARS that he can beat " anyone from 154-168 ".

So, why would he refuse to negotiate on the weight with Canelo ?

Team Bull**** would get a HUGE payday and a notable opponent.

Why on earth would Golovkin refuse ?

                      WHY ????????????????????????????

FACT: Team Bull**** know that Golovkin cannot beat Canelo at 155..... and they are not willing to take any kind of risk by putting lil'G in with a dangerous opponent.

That is why we got a dozen silly excuses why they simply could not fight Ward/Lara/etc.
