We would all like to see him move up and fight at 168, 35 fights in and no one knows if he's the real deal or yet another carefully marketed fighter. His management, as you said does indeed suck and they always have conflicting stories about Ward, Saunders, Froch, money issues, etc. It's gotten exhausting. Luckily, he's coming to an end of being able to take on lesser opposition, without being called on it.Comment

Guys.....
FACT: Golovkin will not move up to 168.
The reason why is shameful imho.
They want fame/fortune, the easiest way possible..... and the easiest way to achieve that is by beating Hopkins record.
Casual fans will lap that **** up, you can just imagine.
They will attempt to " beat " Hopkins record for middleweight defenses..... despite the fact that Golovkin was only the "interim" champ for most of those fights..... despite the fact that he is not fighting world-class opponents..... and despite the fact that he will not take any risks whatsoever.
That whole team is lame as fk, including Hypekin himself.Comment

But to compare GGG run to Hopkins is embarrassing I mean Hopkins beat Mercado, Holmes , Tito , DLH to get it. Gennady might have what Lemiuex , BJS ( Maybe) and 2 handed to him not even in the same category
But this sport has turned the Orgs into a gong show when Ricky Burns is a legit 3 div champ & Broner has belts in 4 mostly against sub par comp. Theyre just playing he hands they're dealt but it loses a bit of significance to compare the fighters of today to the past because it isn't the sameComment

That's not insane. That's basic common sense. That's the whole concept of getting loans or business loans. The objective is to surpass the capital you're requesting. With Lil'G having 4 belts, doesn't the stock technically rise? It's basic common sense. Future fights would surpass anything crying about 4million.
However, you want the real truth? Loeffler is content even without the WBO for now, and it's safe to say that they wouldn't mind seeing Saunders defend that WBO. A shock loss, then they can give the new WBO challenger 1 mill or less. Saunders is the Champ, he can price himself as he pleases, he doesn't work for K2 or their future earning goals. Boxing is Business, no favors done!Comment

I get what your saying but why would you take the hardest road possible to fame/fortune ? Only a f.ucking ****** would decide to take the toughest road possible in a sport where you get punched in the face against a bunch of killers. I won't knock a guy doing the smart thing

Nah, I just pay attention.....
10.15, and they have mentioned it on numerous occasions.....
Interestingly, when Loeffler was pressed, he stated that if Canelo were to drop the belt then the weight is negotiable. That comment was earlier in that interview.Comment
