You can't stop talking about GGG to defend Canelo. Canelo can fight anyone, chooses people he shouldn't be fighting. Rather than give up a title GGG took out a mandatory, Wade.

The fact that they are going to meet to discuss Alvarez's next opponent means it won't be Golovkin. A Golovkin fight should have already been negotiated and agreed upon by now. The fact that is hasn't means that it won't happen.

Alvarez's next fight will be on HBO because nobody in their right mind would pay to see Alvarez/Lemieux or Alvarez/Smith or Alvarez vs anyone at 154 or 160 pounds other than Golovkin.
