If the GGG/Canelo fight isn't made, the only person labeled a duck will be Canelo. Doesn't he still own the 160 lineal Ring title?...and the guy hasn't fought at 154 in 3 years...which makes him a MW. Canelo is the only one who can be perceived as a duck. GGG wanted to fight for the belts...Canelo & GBP could have easily requested for an extension on the WBC date, & got it granted...but they'd rather vacate. Is my logic wrong?

Would be an interesting barometer for Canelo. I'm on the side who believes that Canelo can't make 154 anymore. If he tries to fight at 155 again, his numbers might see a significant dip.

You're right. Lemieux is not going down to 155 for Canelo...no matter how much money is offered. His body just won't be able to handle that drain. So, Canelo can fight him at 160, or go back down to 154 & fight Liam Smith (which I would also consider a disappointment when Charlo & Andrade are available...not to mention Lara).
