Look up the documentary "unforgiveable Blackness" about the rise and the fall of Jack Johnson. The original "Fight of The Century" between Johnson and Jeffries had many racial overtones and that hasn't changed over the past 100 years.
Yes, racial bias is not as bad as it was back then but it is still very much alive in boxing and always has been.
GGG has given some of the many closet racists a mascot to get behind. He's undefeated, hits hard, and for the most part looks Caucasian. He's like their new white hope. However, if GGG were to lose to a black guy these racists would jump off his bandwagon faster than the survivors of the sinking Titanic. Seeing a strong white guy get embarrassed by a black guy destroys their preconceived notions of racial supremacy. Just like Jeffries when he lost to Johnson or when Schmeling lost to Joe Louis these guys will turn on Golokin once he loses.

You notice guys who all used to support pac, klitschkos etc now support GGG, Kovalev, fury and lomachenko
Why they can't just accept true superiority of sickness in the sport I'll never know but if they want to support those unskilled cavemen that's fine I guess.
But I'm on its got worse since GGG.
Wilder
Spence
Ward
Crawford
That's the future right there

Floyd is black, I'm black, he's great so I'm great by association
That's how it works

It seems to be a certain segment of black people with some type of inferiority complex that keep that bs going. It really occupies the minds of certain posters here, that's for sure.
