answer this question for me.....were these guys too small for 168 or higher

Did leonard have the frame to fight at 168? he started below 147....so did hearns he won a title at 168

Did mike mccallum? he won his first title at 154 and also won titles at 160 and 175..he was ducked worse than

I can go on and on

stop making excuses when their have been plenty of fighters who started below 160 who fought at or above 168

How about 5'7" vinny paz started at 135

hmmmm....Roy jones started at 154 and fought all the way up at heavy and carved out ATG status at 175....thats what greats do...take risks

GGG is p4p right? He'll have to prove it like everyone else

he did. he's beaten more top 10 comp than any active fighter in boxing in the last 3-4 years. all via knockout. none of the fights were close. it'd be icing on the cake if martinez, cotto, quillin, golovkin, or sturm hadn't blatantly ducked him.

you're literally the only "poster" left who ignores all of this. gennady golovkin is a pound for pounder. acknowledge it it or you're a fanboy.

who is in your top 10 p4p?

and whats your top 10 at MW, JMW, and SMW. let's see if you've given an ounce of thought to any of this. i think you're just a hater, and you respond in whatever manner fits that agenda. so does everybody else.

double standards...wants a guy who started at 130 to fight a middleweight, dude never weighed over like 150 for a fight but dont want to see a career middleweight fight at 168...dude comes in over 170

so GGG is too small for 168 but floyd isnt too small for 160 smh

all fails, call me a racist or a hater....naw, im just expecting out of GGG what I expect out of other fighters and their panties are in a bunch.

yo larry did leonard, hearns, vinny paz, charley burley, mike mccallum, and others who started below 147 have the frame to fight super middleweights? ..they took risks

When you spend years obliterating your division's contenders, it gets you p4p consideration. Most fighters don't wipe out the contenders of their divisions like Golovkin has over the past 3-4 years. People always say "lol Martin Murray gets you p4p" but it's not about Martin Murray, or Geale, or Stevens. It's about the body of work Golovkin has put together, which includes a sizable amount of the better fighters at middleweight. It also includes the ease with which Golovkin has knocked them all out.

Should he be p4p #1? Of course not. But he's clearly a top 10 p4p fighter. To deny that is being irrational.

all via one sided knockout. that absolutely gets you on the pound for pound list. every major news source has golovkin in the top three. he's the most dominant fighter in the sport.

you don't even have a pound for pound list. and you won't post one up because it's going to make you look like an idiot. you either don't have the boxing acumen to see with your eyes the skills and talents that make golovkin an able boxer, or you're too biased to mention them.

you won't post up a top 10 at MW, either, because it's going to be littered with guys who either pissed their pants at the idea of fighting golovkin, or who he knocked out. there's literally nobody else. the champion of that division made a new weight class . so did the guy before him!

but golovkin sucks. not a p4per. you're right. bad resume. bad fighter.

Not really. And if you check my post history you'll see i said Floyd had absolutely no reason to fight GGG. That said i did say that if Floyd got in the ring with GGG he would get decapitated. If Floyd doesn't want his name associated with GGG then he shouldn't say "easy work".

he isnt in my opinion...p4p is opinion based......he definitely has the talent...he just isnt p4p in my book.

having belts handed to him instead of fighting for them doesnt help...he is on the cusp IMO

The top ten fighters in the world in my opinion are, in no order...top of my head

                      Kovalev
                      Juan Francisco Estada
                      Chocolatito
                      Skinsuke Yamanaka
                      Rigondeaux
                      Ward
                      Crawford
                      Loma
Bradley(he has only lost to an ATG, what can you do, is still one of the best p4p imo)
                      Naoya Inoue

honorable mention: GGG, Danny Garcia, Viktor Postol, Adonis Stevenson, and Degale

I have GGG top 15...he is on the cusp...a win over Canelo, BJS, Qullin or Lara gets him in.
