Middleweight contender Danny Jacobs is off the July 30 card at Barclays Center and will return in either Aug. or Sept. against Sergio Mora at a venue to be determined, a source told ******.com on Wednesday.

Jacobs (31-1, 28 knockouts) was scheduled to face Mora in the co-feature of a Showtime-televised card headlined by featherweight titleholder Leo Santa Cruz vs. Carl Frampton on July 30 in Brooklyn. Now, Jacobs and Mora ( 28-4-2, 9 KOs) will headline their own card, the source said.

Actually the July date already provided him an excuse to avoid GGG in September. Not many would expect Jacobs to fight again that soon. Hopefully this means he'll face someone else besides Mora in his next fight.
