canelo dropping the title it only affected his rep among hardcore boxingfans, his ppv numbers will be affected very little if anything, the casuals know more about him being in court than vacating or other stuff, you can even find his court room story on People(en espanol) or gossip tv shows on univision, telemundo, etc .. but any info about him vacating is only on places like yahoo boxing, espn boxing shows, or boxing related sites...
the ggg fight will happen this year or next year but under canelos terms, and if ggg doesnt agree to those terms then its on him ...

GGG is doing fine without US PPV income. His fights sell all over the world. The same will not be true of Canelo now.
do you really think that casuals know about fighters vacating titles???
most of the times they dont even know about weight classes, let alone stuff like that... and you talk about the publicity , that publicity is on boxing shows, or boxing related sites, do you believe casuals watch those shows or go to those sites???
but tell me how much money ggg does on his world wide fights??? not even half of what canelo does on his lowest ppv, even if not a ppv fight canelo doubles gggs biggest payday...
even if canelo gains haters, those haters will also tune in for his fights and talk about him... good publicity bad publicity, still publicity, you want to watch canelo lose, fine, keep watching...
you must be delusional if you think that ggg is a bigger draw than canelo now...
heck canelo just did 600k on a fight that was considered a joke among the boxing hardcore fans , the very same fans that are hating on him for vacating, so he will be ok...

im not impressed with that, 325k is the lowest ppv canelo had so far against a boring fighter that casuals didnt know about it, canelo just did 600k vs khan on a fight that was considered a joke on boxing times where floyd did around the same on his farewell fight, pac did a lot less fighting a known fighter like bradley... if hbo knows canelos next ppv is doing at least 300k, those are 6 or 8 mill to hbos pocket, they will gladly take it instead of having to get anything from their already low boxing budget, but even then not every canelo fight will be a ppv, he has cantract with hbo that states he will need to fight at leats once a year on regular hbo... canelo making 8 mill a fight on ppv on a constant basis is really not bad at all, just keep in mind gggs highest payday is 2 mill, it wont go far from that without canelo, so is easy to know who needs who...

Golovkin's net worth is $25 million, and he made it all from his boxing career.

He has only had a couple of $million+ purses, so the rest of his earnings must be from endorsements and a percentage of the international TV income. Worldwide, I'm sure more people watch Golovkin's fights than Canelo's, but they don't pay through the nose for the privilege, like Canelo's US fans.

He was okay going down to fight rosado, mayweather and pacquaio, he wanted to face ward at a catchweigth for ward SMW title lmfao this dude is a bitch 100%
155 is Caneloweight not a 'Catchweight'. But yeah, if GGG really wants him some of that Ginger ****e and Canelo won't budge of course the Kazakh has a choice to make.

Also the suggestion of 164 for Ward was for a non-title fight if my memory serves me correctly.

My point wasn't that Canelo sucks or anything, just that he hasn't committed to where he will be fighting next. This makes me feel like he is bsing with us when he says that he will be fighting GGG soon.

if ggg didnt cared crossing over from network fighter to ppv fighter he wouldnt be in america talking about mexican style... ggg isnt the only fighter with endorsements, but that doesnt change the fact that you could be getting paid 8 to 15 mill a fight instead of 2mill.. $25 mill net worth isnt really that much after being pushed by hbo for years, canelo made that much in only 2 fights (floyd,cotto)...

I can't believe how under paid GGG is??? I'm mean their is a BUNCH of other fighters making that or MORE!!! What does K2 with all that $$$$??? Heck they usually pay the other guy $500k. Ggg selling out arenas, HBO having good viewer number, paying BOTH fighters around $2.5 million...WOW!!! And I thought Pac was getting ****d by Top Skank!

Canelo and GGG need to both drop their promotors and do what Floyd and Oscar did. At this point neither one needs a promotor.
