Agreement to meet GGG next May, and Canelo fights Curtis Stevens, Lemieux, or some full MW next September. He should fight a second full MW in January, but he may not.

Move back down to 154. Keep teasing GGG but wait for him to age before coming up.
At least in this case he is fighting at a real weight class.

He cant run forever cuz 154 has good fighters.

Personally I favor Andrade over him....the movement and speed that troubles Canelito plus power, counters and punch variety.

You're right people do want to see Nelo vs. Lil G but now is not the time for Nelo. Canelo hasn't fought at the full 160 lbs yet in his career and would need to see how he feels fighting there first before putting him in with Lil G. The kid is only 25 and has has yet to reach his prime yrs. there's no reason for Oscar to throw him in there with lil G just to satisfy the Golovtards out there. Let Canelo grow some more and fight a Lemieux or Saunders both of whom would be solid competition for him.

My THEORY on the whole Canelo/GGG negotiation situation is that Oscar probably told Loeffer " look we're gonna fight u guys . Just let us get a couple fights at 160 under our belt first ." In hopes GGG gets old in the meantime ( he is 34 ) . It seems fishy to me how Loeffer's only response when asked are " we're still in negotiations" .
